As seasoned Whitsundays locals, we personally know Hamilton Island and its properties. That’s what separates us from remote call centres and random search results. We inspect and stay at our properties regularly, so we know what to recommend to match your needs with confidence. Here are some recent favourites reviewed by our boutique Reservations Team.
Waves 8 is a spectacular 3 level villa on the west side of Hamilton Island, with breathtaking water and sunset views. Whitsunday Holidays’ Reservation Consultant Elise joined a number of expectant couples who find Hamilton Island the ideal place for a Baby Moon. Pavillions 21 is perfect for anyone looking for a ground floor setting in a lavish waterfront location. Reservations Consultant Courtney reports: “I stayed here with my husband and 3 young children. The ground floor, lawn area and fenced pool were all ideal. The kids loved to play, and the adults loved watching all the boat action of the harbour.”

Another favourite with families is Poinciana 003. Courtney says: “I also love this apartment for the ground floor. The wallabies are very entertaining at dusk. They love nibbling on the grass and the kids love it! The central location is so convenient to walk to the beach or the marina.” Explore Poinciana 3 here
The Retreat is a 4 bedroom luxury home with its own private infinity pool. Whitsunday Holidays Reservation Consultant Stacey (and friends) loved staying here: “My partner and I were lucky enough to stay at The Retreat. It was magical. The private pool, the huge balcony with sunset views, the beautiful furnishings, the list goes on. A stunning apartment, beautifully furnished, with breathtaking views. As our Reservations and Charter Manager Clare can agree! Her review: “The sunset views are breathtaking. This exclusive 6th floor luxury sub-penthouse apartment is filled with light and expansive spaces, as Clare experienced: “I had to travel to the island for a last minute stay for some meetings. This apartment is simply stunning. Beautifully furnished and amazing views! The great central location is perfect. Stunning 5 bedroom luxury design with 180 degree views, in-ground pool and entertaining deck. Says Clare: “I stayed at Elandra with my husband and 2 kids. We invited friends with us. It was perfect for our group of 10. Such great entertaining areas and so nice to have a private pool. The views are amazing.” Explore Elandra here
Located on prestigious Melaleuca Drive, The Glasshouse is an international class private retreat that will astound you. Read the review by Whitsunday Holidays Director Kristie: ” I stayed here for a recent special zero birthday. Invited 8 of my nearest and dearest and had the most magical 4 days. This is a truly wonderful house. I loved seeing the expression on my guests’ faces when they first arrived. Reviewed by Kristie: “This apartment has just been returned to holiday letting after a long term permanent resident moved out. It has been beautifully furnished and refurbed. The owner did a great job. I love this apartment as it is single level, spacious, bright and open. The balcony is enormous.
